Home Centre takes its inspiration from honeycomb, synonymous with the structure created by bees.

Kirkby Design welcomes an Eley Kishimoto signature, the iconic Flash design, to mark our second collaboration. Renowned for its striking graphic effect, Flash is paired with rich textures to create a bold, contemporary look.

Hand-knotted and woven, this beautiful raffia is first coated with a layer of pigment, giving it body and a hand-painted feel, before being digitally printed with rich colour and precision.

This realistic depiction of our favourite British birds was inspired by an 18th century painting of plants and animals.

A green woodpecker, wren, robin and thrush perch alongside a pair of nesting blue tits, making their home in a modern tree of life.

To complete the scene, butterflies, insects, ladybirds and various woodland berries adorn the tree. The exquisitely detailed design is painted in fine watercolour.

The climbing trail of Wisteria floribunda can be found throughout the Cole & Son archive. This deciduous, sun-loving, summer bloomer with its refulgent racemes has been updated with a trailing hand-drawn trellis to create a graphic print that is as in keeping within a cottage garden as it is in a contemporary setting.

Sur-flex printed, Wisteria has a thick, chalky texture bringing each individual bud to the fore in palettes of Coral & Sage on Parchment, Magenta & Leaf Green on White, Stone & Olive on Duck Egg, Powder Blue & Jade on Cerulean Sky, and Sage on Leaf Green.

Taking its name from the Chateau de Villandry which houses one of the grandest gardens in France, Villandry's design is printed in a classic Toile de Jouy style featuring a pastoral landscape of parkland, waterways and follies in traditional colourways of red, soft charcoal, cobalt blue, and dove grey.

Midsummer Bloom depicts abundant summer flowers in full bloom. This blousy print was found in the Cole & Son archive and re-painted by the Design Studio to create a rich and lavish trailing floral.

Moody colourings of Burnt Orange, Rose & Petrol on Ink; and Mulberry, Purple & Teal on Ink give Midsummer Bloom a contemporary update whilst Chartreuse, Rouge & Leaf Green on Parchment; and Hyacinth Blues on Chalk offer a more classically chintzy floral arrangement.

Uccelli, meaning birds, originated as luxurious folding screens depicting vibrantly coloured birds of all species adorning sparse branches. Since translated to a beautifully intricate wallcovering panel design, this delicate motif brings an ornate quality to a stand-alone feature wall or, used in repeat, creates a stunning aviary rich in detail and colour.

Each roll of Uccelli contains two drops creating a full decorative panel measuring 104cm wide by 240cm high. The design features an extra 40cm of ground colour above the trellis so that it can be trimmed from the top to perfectly fit the wall it adorns.

In contrast to its blousy Victorian contemporaries, the Chinese inspired decorative style of this 1920’s Jeffrey & Co. archive design is adorned with large peonies and tropical butterflies.

A wide width wallpaper, its opaque detail pays homage to the block printed original, elevated even further by the addition of subtle metallic highlights.

Chinoiserie Hall is inspired by a beautifully coloured archive wallpaper called Chinese Magpie, believed to be designed by William Turner (1867-1936) and produced by Jeffrey & Co. In this iteration, intricate budgies perch on delicate branches amongst springtime blossom and neat buds.

The design studio offers us vibrant geometric shapes. Parallel lines drawn by hand to determine a hatching effect in a very graphic style. An ink or pencil effect shows the hand of the artist, the gentle and irregular movement of the nib on the ground.

Stylized faces are each drawn in a continuous, unbroken line. The chalk technique with raised matt or iridescent ink accentuates the pattern to give it relief.

The pattern Portrait has been drawn entirely by hand in the design studio.

Floralia in indigo is a delightful scrolling botanical design inspired by antique block prints. Stylized leaves and ottoman flowers are surface-printed on a sisal ground. The result?

A look that feels hand-painted and gives this pattern an imperfect beauty that’s ideal as a rich, textural backdrop for furnishings and art. Part of the Cabana collection; also available as a fabric.

Grassweave / Grass cloth

Taken from our archive this design was originally a ceiling paper by Arts and Crafts designer Andrew Brophy (1844-1912). We’ve recreated the structure of the trellis and added flowers and leaves from one of May Morris’s original designs to create Brophy Trellis an incredibly usable design which pairs beautifully with other Morris & Co. fabrics and wallpapers. Available in four colourways: Linen/Sage Russet/Gold Ivory/Sage and Deep Teal

As its title suggests this wallpaper is inspired by a set of embroidered panels depicting the seasons in stitch-work designed and probably also embroidered by May Morris c.1895-1900. Now reinterpreted as a wallpaper Seasons by May features parakeets stylised roses tulips turning stems leaves and flowers amongst a mirrored trellis. Available in three colourways: A neutral Linen smart Indigo and striking Saffron which has a metallic ground.

Dramatic swirling leaves coil around on this monochrome wallpaper. The Morris & Co. studio enlarged the original 1892 design and painted it in the style of medieval frescos with dramatic effect creating a show stopping, 140cm width wallpaper. Also available as a printed fabric and woven cloth.

A fabulous and unique design depicting exquisitely observed cactus plants and orchid flowers encapsulated in a glass-domed terrarium. Mica highlights capture the sheen from the top of the dome.
