Inspired by a beautiful, painted silk, this wallpaper was designed in the Sanderson studio. Telling a story of English water gardens, Emperor ducks, characterful frogs and regal koi carp pair with irises and roses to recreate the spirit of the 1930s.
A great cost effective alternative to Schumacher Lotus Garden.Â
In contrast to its blousy Victorian contemporaries, the Chinese inspired decorative style of this 1920’s Jeffrey & Co. archive design is adorned with large peonies and tropical butterflies.
A wide width wallpaper, its opaque detail pays homage to the block printed original, elevated even further by the addition of subtle metallic highlights.
Chinoiserie Hall is inspired by a beautifully coloured archive wallpaper called Chinese Magpie, believed to be designed by William Turner (1867-1936) and produced by Jeffrey & Co. In this iteration, intricate budgies perch on delicate branches amongst springtime blossom and neat buds.
A textured vinyl paper that offers a unique look and combined with neps and texture gives the impression of a paper backed fabric but with the practicality of a vinyl.
A pretty and subtle all-over leaf design lifted from the background of our Lily wallpaper. Dramatic swirling leaves coil around on this monochrome wallpaper. The Morris & Co. studio enlarged the original 1892 design and painted it in the style of medieval frescos with dramatic effect creating a show stopping, 140cm width wallpaper. Also available as a printed fabric and woven cloth.
Inspired by American folk art, this motif will whisk you away to stories of old unleashing childlike enthusiasm for fairy tales. Walk through an imaginative land, from dark rolling hills carpeted with wild flowers to a tree growing giant orange pears and a whole dance of mythical creatures along the way.
Travellers Tales and Pear Tree from the Kit Kemp Collection take their toile de juoy motif from the giant mural-style wallpaper Mythical Land. Yet with added pinks and oranges at almost neon tones, the stereotypically traditional design and age-old mythical scenes are retold for the contemporary world. Kit suggests using Pear Tree wallpaper up a staircase, as if these colourful trees will lead you up to the fresh and abundant world pictured, complete with leaping leopards and giant sliming snails.
Channels, a print on paper, is the ultimate combination of abstract lines and graphic boundaries. More versatile than ever before, this best-seller is now available in nine striking colorways.
