Afrika Kingdom
$844 Per Roll Save $-844 Per RollThe circle of life forms a regal tableau in this celebration of the Animal Kingdom set in the lush greenery of Afrika - the Afrikaans spelling. This tiered design has an elegant formality, with graceful curves in the flora and fauna, the irrepressible spirit of Jabula flourishing.
A totemic Giant Eagle Owl with outstretched wings oversees the impressive scene, where palm trees proudly fan out their sculptural leaves, heavy with ripening fruit. Animals appear in mirrored pairs, from balletic giraffes to a dazzle of frolicking zebra alongside some of southern Africa's most endangered animals like the fiery-toned Painted Dog and stately Roan Antelope.
Colour and pattern are layered in vibrant flourishes, from the brilliance of a rhino's horn to the highly decorative flourishes across a hippo's hide. Three ground colours deliver dramatically different results: the night sky, high noon or a subtle metallic bronze that evokes the golden hour on the savanna - time for a traditional sundowner.

Hand-Painted Leopard
$825 Per Roll Save $-825 Per RollAnimal print has been used by the Vivienne Westwood house for over four decades in bold, subversive interpretations. Leopard print was oversized and magnified in the Spring-Summer 1989 Civilizade collection and later found in bright red tones in Autumn-Winter 1992/93 Always On Camera. Vivienne famously enjoyed using the prints in any way other than how they are found in nature.
Hand-Painted Leopard has been entirely redrawn by hand in the Cole & Son studio, referencing a stylized leopard print with an organic sense of movement. The design has been printed using a screen-print technique to imbue a disruptive spirit and keep the hand of the artwork as faithful as possible.
Colourings offer an unexpected take on more traditional leopard print; in tones of Rose & Tangerine, Moss & Mauve, Sand & Violet, Grey & Metallic Silver, and Petrol & Teal to blur the line between abstract mark-making and the representation of fur.

Absence of Roses Moire
$550 Per Roll Save $-550 Per RollAbsence of Roses is a print synonymous with the Vivienne Westwood house, first seen as an illustrative rose motif in the Spring-Summer 1994 Gold Label Café Society collection. The Roses print was originally inspired by painter and botanist to Marie Antoinette, Pierre-Joseph Redouté and later seen as a silhouette print in the Absence of Roses iteration.
For the Cole & Son x Vivienne Westwood collection, the Absence of Roses print features the classic Cole & Son Moiré as its ground, giving the wallpaper a depth, movement and rich heritage associated with that of a Westwood gown. Moiré, a design still within the Cole & Son portfolio today, was created by the design house’s founder to fill the need for wallpaper that replicated the appearance of silk wallcoverings. With this he was at the forefront of innovation developing the design using crushed pearl pigments, known as mica, to simulate the lustre of silk. The resulting combination of the two prints is a romantic wallpaper that envelops whatever room it adorns in a silk jacquard-like effect.
Colourings of Pewter and Brass reference the moodier sensibilities of the Vivienne Westwood house, as well as the pure Silk White of the bridal couture they have come to be synonymous with.
