ISLET COLLECTION - A new fabric and wallpaper collaboration with artist @pipspiro.
It was a natural step for Anna and her business partner and brother Sam to team up with their sister-in-law Pip Spiro, who is a watercolour painter known for her vivid use of colour and uplifting aesthetic. The result is an amalgamation of art, interiors and family life, drawing on their mutual passion for colour and pattern combined with a shared connection to little island havens.

What Makes It Special

Introduced in 1963 and still fresh today, Queen of Spain has a painterly quality. A wonderful example of mid-century design, it is available as a fabric and a wallcovering.

Wide Width

The smart petite cube design of Mosaic is inspired by the symmetry and tilework of the Art Deco period. This surface printed motif, with accents of metallic gold and bronze on subtle grounds of charcoal, slate and stone, immediately adds a luxurious tone to any interior.

Named after the famed Egyptian tomb site, Luxor features an illusory and intricate trellis in a range of six smart colourings. Jazzy pinks, oranges and limes, mix with cooler neutrals and a more enigmatic charcoal with bronze.

Delano, which takes its name from the famous Art Deco hotel on South Beach, takes a familiar tile motif, and gives it a smart and contemporary feel. Offered in five vibrant colourings, including a classic black and white, black, white and gold, a sharp yellow and pink both teamed with black, and a sumptuous indigo with gold, Delano will bring a dash of pizzazz to any interior.

Inspired by the North African courtyards of Morocco, the geometric design Petite Tile, a diminutive rendering of Tile, appears in soft, modern shades of Powder Blue, Soft Grey, Duck Egg and Parchment, as well as the brooding, faceted Charcoal and Bronze.

Produced using four films, Otto wallpaper palmette has beautiful depths, alternating lustre and matte. It recalls the work of Otto Wagner, founder of modern Austrian architecture and advocate of functionalism.

The word Bogolan means “from the earth”. To begin, a simple cotton cloth, on which different symbols are traced in clay giving it its importance. The colours come from natural dyes : birch, indigo, grape skins. This african fabric, with large geometric patterns, has inspired Casamance to create this digitally printed panoramic wall panel.

This panoramic wallpanel coordinates with the Mahlangu fabric and accessories.

A lavish collection, Louxor uses light as an adornment. In 1921, the Louxor, a cinema with a neo-Egyptian facade was inaugurated in Paris. The rules of Ancient Egypt fascinated Art Decor artists at the time, a century later they have inspired Casamance to create this lavish collection of wallcoverings. Majestic volume, graceful lacing, drawn between light and shade. Patterns withclear lines and pared-back shapes catch the light. The opulence and richness is portrayed through the depth of colour, flashes of precious metals, gold, copperor silver.

Playing with spatial geometry, shadows, light and contrasts, “Illusion” creates a stylised, improbable and endless architecture.

The walls, terraces and stairs go on endlessly. The windows, doors and openings reflect each other, in 5 magnificent twilight palettes.

The first collection ‘Lanikai’ comprises of six Hawaiian-inspired prints each rendered in a variety of colourways. The latest collection ‘Heirloom’ rediscovers textiles from our Grandmother’s cupboard and a softer palette printed on natural coloured linen is displayed throughout the five new designs. Produced entirely in Australia, both collections are carefully constructed and screen-printed by hand. The fabrics work beautifully on their own or even more successfully when mixed and matched on sofas, armchairs, curtains, cushions and lampshades in Spiro’s inimitable eclectic style.
