Masterfully bridging rustic and refined aesthetics, Ralph Lauren's Canyon Road fabric collection draws inspiration from the serene beauty of natural landscapes. The thoughtfully curated assortment balances artisanal craftsmanship with practical luxury through durable wool blends; plush, long-pile velvets; cotton-and-jute weaves; and performance sheers with a natural drape. Realized in a rich, neutral palette punctuated by vibrant red and indigo hues, the selected designs span from naturally flecked textures to striking geometric motifs.
Included in this exquisite collection are fabrics created as part of Ralph Lauren's Artist in Residence program. This special collaboration with siblings Naiomi Glasses and Tyler Glasses - both seventh-generation Diné (Navajo) weavers - honors Navajo heritage and centuries-old traditions.
Inspired by the natural landscape on Navajo Nation, Standing Crosses features four-directional crosses, signifying the Earth's four directions in Navajo tradition, framed by a stepped motif filled with fine stripes inspired by rock striations. A row of triangles represents elements within the natural landscape. Nodding to the natural, undyed wools favoured by the Glasses siblings, this fabric features a heathered, heavier-weighted yarn and offers an organic feel. Suitable for upholstery.
