Capturing the rich decorative nature of the Art Deco era and its geometric modernism, the Metropolis textile collection is completed with five sumptuous coordinating wallpapers utilising diverse printing techniques and multiple substrates. These include metallic inks and foil alongside textured surface prints, printed onto both paper and non-woven substrates, capturing this luxurious and spirited era.
Focus on all the delicacy of lace worked with boundless passion, love and expertise: romantic arabesques, flowery details, different, incredibly delicate, lace stitches... printed on the wallpaper with iridescent tints on a deep colour. The result? A perfectly balanced contrast.
Our co-ordinating wallpaper takes us in a more painterly direction, further exploring traditional hand painted tile inspiration. Majorelle Wallpaper uses digital technology to capture the watercolour paint effects and is printed onto a pre-embossed paper-based vinyl for durability. The faux linen emboss adds further dimension to this intricate design, reflecting the surface irregularities of authentic Oriental tiled walls. The colour palette mirrors the coordinating Majorelle textile and includes a bold deep emerald green
Using traditional block printing techniques, Enhance represents a tribal aesthetic which is reinforced through its highly textured base cloth made up of a linen, jute and cotton mix. The tactile handle of Enhance is achieved through the natural fibres and antiqued effect which makes it most suitable for residential interiors.
