A lavish collection, Louxor uses light as an adornment. In 1921, the Louxor, a cinema with a neo-Egyptian facade was inaugurated in Paris. The rules of Ancient Egypt fascinated Art Decor artists at the time, a century later they have inspired Casamance to create this lavish collection of wallcoverings. Majestic volume, graceful lacing, drawn between light and shade. Patterns withclear lines and pared-back shapes catch the light. The opulence and richness is portrayed through the depth of colour, flashes of precious metals, gold, copperor silver.

Lush vegetation adorned with rich colours comes to life on the walls. The rich colours are created using the rotogravure technique which produces very precise patterns. Avicennia coordinates with the “Kirsten garden” fabric. Also called the black mangrove, the Avicennia is a small tree found in tropical mangroves.

A flowers opens whilst all the others close. At dusk the Belle de Nuit awakens, giving off its bewitching perfume. It has inspired this enchanting and hand-drawn composition.

The strong colours come from the eight printing cylinders. Some references contain a metallic film giving the flower an iridescent look at sundown.

At night, water acquires intense tones and is magnified by the brightness of the light. On a cotton satin, a sculpted embroidery represents the Trevi Fountain at dusk.

From Fellinis unforgettable scene to the Fendi haute couture fashion show in front of the famous fountain, the fabric awakens the memory of a midnight dip in an evening gown.

The word Bogolan means “from the earth”. To begin, a simple cotton cloth, on which different symbols are traced in clay giving it its importance. The colours come from natural dyes : birch, indigo, grape skins. This african fabric, with large geometric patterns, has inspired Casamance to create this digitally printed panoramic wall panel.

Hédonie recalls the olfactive pleasure of a garden (Hedonism being the school of thought that regards pleasure as being the reason for living).

Kokedera is a Graphic velvet on a textured base of two qualities, viscose and polyester, gives the fabric a matte and glossy effect. Very sought-after, this soft moss covers Japanese gardens.

Kokedera - Kyoto’s «Temple of Moss» - is a garden composed of 120 varieties that are different in shape and colour, dark, bright or muted. It is embodied by this sublime geometrical velvet.

Hand-embroidered on traditional clothing or painted on houses, geometric designs are characteristic of Ndebele art in South Africa. The colours and symbolic designs of these wallpaintings express the identity of the members of the tribe and have positive meanings. Of Ndebele heritage, the South African artist Esther Mahlangu has inspired Casamance to create this linen and cotton fabric.

This strongly scented English rose is inspired by the poet Christopher Marlowe. The linen fabric reinterprets the stages of flowering in bright contrasts. Available in 5 colours, Marlowe is embroidered in exquisite colours, like precious jewels such as carnelian red, citrine yellow on a jade background, or pearl on a tourmaline black background.

The soft and matte Népal collection takes us to the far reaches of the Himalayas. Here and there, the snow embraces the summits as does the bouclette the curves of the seats.

Panthere is an exquisite jacquard, on a polyester satin warp. The weft is made of many different yarns which create the irregularities in the fabric, alternating matte and gloss, with subtle differences in thickness. An elegant and orginal fabric, designed for seating.

The blossoming of thousands of Jacaranda flowers fills the town with colour in spring. A spectacular sight, which covers the streets with a mauve carpet at the end of summer.

Embroidered on a cotton and linen cloth, these spectacular flowers blossom in different monochromes of green, ochre, purple and blues. These new and delicate shades, created by our colourist for this spring-summer combine with deep-browns and are highlighted with bronze.
