A flowers opens whilst all the others close. At dusk the Belle de Nuit awakens, giving off its bewitching perfume. It has inspired this enchanting and hand-drawn composition.

The strong colours come from the eight printing cylinders. Some references contain a metallic film giving the flower an iridescent look at sundown.
